THE BRAND IS BORN
In 1886, Del Monte® Coffee premiered as a premium blend of coffee packaged exclusively for the prestigious Hotel Del Monte® in Monterey, California.



1989
Del Monte® Times Two
Del Monte® Corporation divides into two seperate entities: Del Monte® Tropical Fruit & Del Monte® Foods.
1996
THE GOLD STANDARD
In 1996, the Del Monte Gold® Extra sweet pineapple was introduced, becoming an instant hit. People insist on it because it's twice as sweet and has such a beautiful golden color

ESTABLISHMENT IN UAE
Del Monte® MENA was established in the UAE to be closer to it's middle east consumer's needs. Providing a range of healthy added value products, educating the market and providing solutions to healthy food.

ESTABLISHMENT IN KSA
Del Monte® MENA began it's regional roll-out. Facilities were successfully opend in KSA with the same challenge on providing best quality products and healthy added value options.

1ST DEL MONTE® F&B STORE
Part of diversification strategy, Del Monte® MENA launched it's first F&B store in KSA, creating a direct interaction with its consumers.

Del Monte® F&B Store opened its first kiosk in UAE

Del Monte® MENA achieved its dream of becoming a grower in the Middle East. Opening its first farm in Ras Al Khaimah-UAE and Sales Offices in Turkey.

In 2018, we developed the Honeyglow® Pineaple, Allowing it to mature naturally on the plant for a few precious extra days. We then hand select each one to ensure a high shell color, delighting people who associate ripe, premium pineapples with a bright, golden shell.
